The World Health Organisation thought it had eradicated TB in the UK many years ago.
We are now pleased to announce that this can now be proved true, goodbye to TB.

Labour Success Story
I promised to publish any Labour success story.
Getting rid of Blair and Presott in one go is a real success.
How will Tony manage now that he has extracted his head from George Bush's b---?
I will not mention Presott's fairwell speach in Parliament, it was too painfull watching him.

Sowerby Parish Council
How will Sowerby manage without Don Cartridge?
Quite well I would think
It would seem that poor Don got a mite upset when the council would not vote to co-opt his friend Steve Hoyland, seems careless Mr Hoyland forgot to submit his nomination papers for Sowerby.
Typical labour, Don tried to run with the conspiracy theory and accused the council, including those newly elected members (who managed to get their nomination papers in on time) of ganging up to prevent Steve from regaining his place on the council.
Who Will run for the next co-option to replace Mr Cartridge?

Hambleton District Council
HDC is now a Labour free zone (at last), many thanks to Miss J Marshall for chickening out of the recent elections.
Is she on the downhill slide?

Local Election
We hear that Jan Marshall, Labour's only Councillor on Hambleton District Council has decided not to stand for election in May, she has been quoted as saying that she decided this course of action four years ago, of course you did Jan, it has nothing to do with defeat staring you in the face with three strong conservatives seeking election.
If your reasons contain any truth why did you contest your NYCC seat two years ago?

You must be joking No6001
A radical review of the welfare system carried out by David Freud is welcomed today by Prime Minister Tony Blair, Chancellor of the Exchequer Gordon Brown and the Secretary of State for Works and Pensions John Hutton.
David Freud, who was asked by John Hutton to carry out the review, said:
"This is a radical reform designed to reduce social dependency of the most disadvantaged. GOOD
I am proposing a structure in which the private and voluntary sector would be prepared to invest substantial sums YOU MUST BE JOKING!!!!!!
With minimal risk to the state"
What school do these clowns go to that Labour keep digging up to produce these reports?

Yet Another Pointless Stupid Law
It is now illegal to obstruct emergency workers and you can now be fined £5000.
Anyone who wilfully gets in the way of firefighters, ambulance crews, coastguards or lifeboat crews could faces charges.
Home Office minister Gerry Sutcliffe said "Such behaviour will not be tolerated, and deliberate attempts to prevent emergency workers from doing their jobs will face a stiff penalty."
Wake up and get real you blockhead.
In the majority of cases, it is firefighters who are attacked.
Quite often they are pelted with stones by gangs of children between the ages of 8 to 14, usually on estates where the only person likely to know what £5000 looks like is the local drugs dealer.
Wake up and get real you blockhead.
