UK Electors Ripped Off

How you may ask?
In an effort to try and prop up Labour's dwindling vote in Wales, the Welsh Assembly is dropping the £low Prescription charge from April 1st, just in time for the May elections.

Who pays? the rest of the UK who fund this ridiculous assembly.

It will cost the rest of the UK £30 million to subsidise the Labour Party in Wales

Cash for Honours

Just prove that you do not need to give the Labour Party a big wad of cash to get an honour Tony Blair handed one at the New Year to the head of the Crown Prosecution Service or as it is better known "Criminal Protection Service".

Strange, was this the same person who said he would not recommend the prosecution of Tony Blair even if evidence proved he had a hand in the big bung scandal?

Labour's Hardman

Poor John Reid, as Labour's supposed hardman he seems to be blundering from one crisis to another.

Seems to have lost a few convicted drug dealers, what more can he lose? his job?

Laugh of the Week No2

This is funny.

Department of Health
--------------------
24-Jan-07, 04:00
Schools in deprived areas to receive pedometers
New National Programme to Help Children Beat the Bulge.

I would of thought that more school repairs or better buildings would have been of more use, still, that's Labour for you.

Could be worse, the LibDems could be in power.

Laugh of the Week No1

The Home Office under John Reid has handed prisoners a get out of jail free card because the jails are getting full.

He also issued instructions to Judges and Magistrates not to jail many criminals for the same reason.

It would be funny if it were not so serious.

Perhaps they should convert the new Home Office building into a prison, it would certainly be put to better use than it is at present.

Sympathy

I fear that I may be getting a little soft.

I actually feel sorry for both Ruth Kelly and John Reid.

Poor Ruth was only doing what any parent would do in the same circumstances and want the best possible chance for her offspring.

John Reid never stood a chance, the Civil Service is no long Politically impartial and he had to follow Clarke and Blunkett into the Home Office.

Clarke must be the most politically inept person on earth, he even makes Boris look good.
Blunkett on the other hand has so many failings I cannot list them all.
1) In office he was a bully, ranting and raving to try and get his own way and always with and official witness (Civil Servant), one Chief Constable stated that he (Blunkett) shouts but I can shout lounder and longer (yes he still has his job)

Fat Man Prescott

I hear John actually managed to lose some weight at Christmas, one stone to be exact (Kidney Stone that is).

He also managed to scrounge a Christmas Dinner from the hard up NHS at the same time
