Sympathy

I fear that I may be getting a little soft.

I actually feel sorry for both Ruth Kelly and John Reid.

Poor Ruth was only doing what any parent would do in the same circumstances and want the best possible chance for her offspring.

John Reid never stood a chance, the Civil Service is no long Politically impartial and he had to follow Clarke and Blunkett into the Home Office.

Clarke must be the most politically inept person on earth, he even makes Boris look good.
Blunkett on the other hand has so many failings I cannot list them all.
1) In office he was a bully, ranting and raving to try and get his own way and always with and official witness (Civil Servant), one Chief Constable stated that he (Blunkett) shouts but I can shout lounder and longer (yes he still has his job)
